API Ammo-Lock is a treatment that detoxifies ammonia and also removes chlorine and chloramine, used in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It is handy when an ammonia test reads high in new tanks, after overfeeding, or when transporting fish. The 8oz bottle is a practical size for most home aquariums. Note that some ammonia tests still register treated ammonia, so rely on water changes and fixing the cause.
